Hardwood Floor Drying & Repair in Spring, TX

Cupped and buckled boards dried, then repaired — from a local crew that documents every step.

About this service

Hardwood reacts to moisture from below as much as from above. Cupping, crowning and buckling are signs the boards have taken on water through the subfloor. With early drying-mat treatment, many floors settle back flat without replacement — but timing is everything.

We measure moisture in the boards and the subfloor, then place drying mats that pull water vapor out of the floor system while dehumidifiers keep the room air dry enough to receive it. Readings are taken daily so we know the floor is recovering, not just resting.

Boards that stay warped or were damaged too long are replaced and laced into the existing floor, then sanded and finished to blend. We will tell you honestly which boards can be saved and which cannot — before any work starts.

Good to know
