Water-Damaged Drywall Repair in Spring, TX
Saturated drywall out, fresh board finished to match — from a local crew that documents every step.
About this service
Drywall behaves like a sponge. Once it is saturated it loses strength, sags between the joists, and becomes a food source for mold — patching compound over the top of it does not work. We remove the damaged sections, dry the framing behind them, and install new board finished to match your walls and ceilings.
We cut only what moisture readings say is damaged, using flood cuts at clean lines so the repair stays as small as the damage allows. Saturated insulation comes out with the board, and the cavity is dried and treated before anything is closed back up.
New drywall is hung, taped, floated and sanded, then textured to match the surrounding surface — orange peel, knockdown or smooth — and primed with a stain blocker before paint, so the repair disappears instead of flashing through.

Good to know
If drywall has been wet for more than a couple of days, assume the back side needs inspection — mold grows on the paper backing first.
